Chalet La Sache is nestled under the woods in one of the most sought after parts of Chamonix facing Mont Blanc. The views from the chalet are simply stunning with the Aiguille du Midi and Mont Blanc dominating. Guests can relax with a beer in the 8 seater hot tub from where you can plan your next days skiing.
It is a short 15 minute walk into the centre of Chamonix for some après ski or shopping or just to soak up the atmosphere of the historic Alpine town.
Your chalet hosts Antonia and James, who also own Chalet la Sache, assisted by Suzie and Vivi their Bernese mountain dog, will make sure your trip to Chalet la Sache is a memorable one. Each day they will drive you to, and pick you up from your chosen ski area in the Land Rover, to ensure you do not have to worry about walking in your ski boots. They will also sort out ski passes, book lessons, ski with you some of the time to help you get orientated within the Chamonix valley. |
Accommodation: | The chalet is on three floors. The ground floor comprises of the 5 guest bedrooms. All of these have en-suite bathrooms with bath and shower and their own boiler so no need to worry about the rest of the guests using all the hot water! Each room can be either a twin or double with our specially designed zip and link mattresses. All the beds have proper sprung mattresses, snugly feather duvets and pillows to make sure you get a good nights rest before the next days skiing. They all also have their own tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms also have their own electric heaters so you are in charge of how warm your room is.
The middle floor is all open plan with double height windows to the balcony and that view. There are comfy sofas and bean bags to chill out on, a big plasma TV to watch our extensive selection of DVD’s on and of course the full Sky package. There is also a hi fi with close to 300 CDs for you to listen to. We also of course have an open log fire to keep the chalet toasty warm in the evenings, as well as under floor heating.
The dining area sits 12 comfortably around our big pine table. |

Catering: | ::back to top | | Meals are taken very seriously here at Chalet La Sache and you will be served 6 fantastic freshly cooked dinners served with appropriate wines. We currently have about 6 reds and 4 whites to choose from and are always on the hunt for new ones. We also provide breakfast on 7 days with a daily hot option, and tea and home made cakes to welcome you back from the slopes. |
