Its creator, Philippe Courtines, a theatre impresario has been building this masterpiece for the last 20 years and his passion and creativity is unrivalled.
Each chalet is unique and is crafted from antique wood to give a truly magical feel to the whole setting. Antiques adorn every property but modern features such as a state of the art cinema, HD TV’s and bathroom fittings are blended so there is no clash of styles but only the ultimate in luxury. These chalets are frequently featured in design magazines and on television.
Chalets Philippe is situated in the beautiful enclave of Le Lavancher, which has a southwest facing position above the Chamonix valley giving unrivalled views as well as plentiful sunshine. A short chauffeured drive of 5 minutes gets you to the famous ski area of the Grand Montet with Chamonix being a 7 minute chauffeured drive. |

Catering: | ::back to top | | No alpine experience is complete without all of one’s senses being awakened and satisfied. A talented chef will indulge your tastes and will discuss with you before you arrive all of the party’s needs in order to build the ideal menu including the children and guests with special dietary needs. Flavours and textures of the finest ingredients are used to give an imaginative combination of modern and traditional gastronomic cuisine.
The day starts with tea and coffee served in your bedroom, breakfast brings compotes, cereals, juices and yoghurts followed by a hot dish of your choice.
On your return from your day’s adventures freshly baked cakes and biscuits are waiting. Take a refreshing shower or massage and start your evening with champagne and canapés served by the roaring log fire. A generously sized dinner with four to six courses served with one of our exceptional house wines provides the ideal setting for swapping stories (5 nights).
Therefore, on two evenings you have the opportunity to sample the local cuisine; your manager will be pleased to make suggestions and book a table for you. You will, of course, be taken to the door and picked up afterwards.

Please note that the grand dining room and the dining room in Chalet Grandes Jorasses can each hold 14-people each - ie large groups may not be able to dine together.
A 2000 Euro security deposit for your holiday will be taken by the Operator following your booking, which will be returned (less damage costs) 7-days after your departure.
On booking this chalet, the group leader will be sent the Operator's T and Cs a quotation document that you will be asked to sign and return. |
