This charming chalet is situated at an altitude of 1275m, high above the Chamonix valley and overlooking the village of Les Houches.
The chalet stands by the side of the legendary Kandahar piste - part of the men’s world cup downhill - thus offering the luxury of true ski in ski out convenience, which is extremely rare in Chamonix.
On top of this the chalet enjoys some of best views in the valley; and there is not only a large sunny balcony from which to enjoy them, but enormous floor to ceiling windows with sun streaming through.
Chalet Schuss has also been newly renovated and sleeps 8 in four ensuite bedrooms, all double or zip and link. The chalet has an open plan sitting and dining area providing ample space for relaxing in front of a roaring log fire and a separate TV and games room.
The chalet is also approached through its own woodland and has a sauna, outdoor hot tub and massage room, and even an all day driving service making it the idyllic holiday getaway. |

Catering: | ::back to top | | Our food is an integral part of your holiday experience. A professional chef is only ever employed and we are confident that you will eat at least as well in this chalet as in any of the local restaurants or hotels in Chamonix.
A typical day will begin with a choice of continental or cooked breakfast; to include: cereals, yoghurts, fruit, fresh bread and croissants; a different cooked breakfast daily accompanied by fresh coffee, tea and fruit juice.
On your return from a hard day on the slopes, afternoon tea will await you, with either freshly baked cakes or home made biscuits.
Before dinner is served there will be an opportunity to unwind in front of a roaring log fire with pre-dinner drinks, a choice of canapés, and home-made dips; followed by a delicious four-course evening meal. To accompany dinner we also provide a selection of complementary fine wine, beer and soft drinks.
Your chalet staff have one full day off during the week (usually Wednesday). Continental breakfast and afternoon tea will be left for you to help yourselves. In the evening you will have the opportunity to savour one of the valley’s many restaurants which your chalet hosts will be happy to recommend and book for you, and we’ll even lay on the taxi service to get you there and back. |

Access:
The chalet is one of the few ski in ski out chalets in the Chamonix valley. It is situated in a magical setting in its own private grounds, and enjoys spectacular views. The centre of Les Houches is only a 5 minute chauffeured drive.
The ski run outside the chalet is a red run and there is a 150m private drive to the chalet. We have a 4x4 to access the chalet but there are occasions when walking will be required.
